- Decide on a theme for the year.
- Select topics for each meeting.
- Decided how many meetings you need to accomplish this theme.
- Choose speakers that can effectively address these topics.
- Think of ways to carry out the theme-booklets, attendance charts, activities, theme verse, etc.
- Set up the calendar year
- Set the dates for the meetings
- Select hostesses from among the ladies in the church
- Set the time and schedule fro the meeting
- Decide on an additional activity to round out the meeting.

SOURCES FOR DEVELOPING THEMES OR PROGRAMMING:
- Carry an idea book with you at all times.
- Encyclopedias
- Keep files of devotional materials -cut out clipping -articles from newspapers, Reader's Digest, etc. This is also good for devotions at Bridal and Baby showers. when you attend these meetings, and someone else brings an unusual devotional, copy the outline down in your idea book.
